Fa la la la la...it's almost Christmas!

During the month of December our French reading lessons involved watching animated songs from a Christmas internet site.

Students learned to recognize "animation techniques":
  • colourful backgrounds that remind you of Christmas
  • images that match the ideas in the song
  • fonts that are nice to look at and not too hard to read
All of the "animation techniques" are used to catch the audience's attention.
So...
As a Media Literacy project students put together slideshows
of the French Christmas songs they learned.

As you watch them...see if you can spot their animation techniques!
