3D Math Challenge

We are learning about prisms and pyramids in our current math unit.

Our first activity was to experiment with building skeletons of a variety of prisms and pyramids.

Then students were challenged to build as many rectangular prisms as possible using three lengths of straws(7cm, 12cm and 19cm).  They were surprised to find out that there were 10 possibilities!
