Earth day...and food raining from the sky??!!

Our grade 4 students had the opportunity to discuss, debate and defend their opinions today in response to 
"Cloudy with a chance of meatballs".  

Students were divided into groups with very specific roles and were asked to explain the problems of the story from their group's perspective.  Afterward they had to come up with possible solutions.  Today's lesson made for some wonderful discussion!

We came to a consensus for our final lesson today:  Take care of the place you live and help to clean the environment.
