Hands-on, minds-on, bodies in motion ...it's physical math!

This week we used an element of dance... LEVELS in SPACE to help us learn and understand new geometry math words.

The students really enjoyed this physical kind of math work.

First we practised making "parallel" lines in the lower level:


Then we showed what Perpendicular lines look like in the lower level, medium level and higher level of space.






 Finally, we practised the idea of symmetry by creating "symmetrical" poses in each of these levels.
