Learning about place value....and Thanksgiving

Our class has been working on representing large numbers and how each number has a different value.

Today we used our "Clustr Map" of blog visitors to show what Standard Form and Expanded Form means.

Standard Form:  The regular way to read and write a number.

Expanded Form:  Stretching out a number to show each digit's value.

Aussi cette semaine, on a lu un
"Marche à suivre" avec le titre : "Étampes de feuilles colorées".
Voici nos belles napperons pour l'Action de Grâces".

Hi Savannah,

I agree with you! It was such a creative idea for Camryn to stamp the leaves into a turkey shape.

I wonder what other shapes students could make with leaf prints?
